i was thinking of either the merlot or empire red. they have photos of a redish stain with the burst on their facebook, seems too drastic of a change, the red to black imo. it looks neat but dont know if ill love it or want it after a little while. the more brownish/wood color stains seem too look better with the burst

thats true, its a subtle burst which from the front you cant see much burst going on, its more like dark dark brown from that angle. I will crank it up tonight and then also send some photos

Looks awesome Nick, that Dark Walnut Burst is one of the coolest finishes. The lighter frame/badge accents look killer as well!

no worries i dont tour, not in band. I use it to play at home and test the amps I build for folks
