Yea the best thing about the 4545 and synths is tuning the synth volume to fight with the 4545 oscillation to get lots of noise. Oh and if you ever want to try out the TBGD or the 4545 or anything else leme know.

Wow that's very generous of you. I shall keep it in mind for when I have stuff to temp trade, cuz right now I only have 2 pedals and you have one of them

i have been thinking of running my CZ-1 into a board and amp but currently I just run it into a carvin acoustic combo.

My only amp is a Hartke 140 watt 1x15 bass combo. So that's what I got.

My synth player in my industrial dance metal(?) type group uses a metal muff on his micro korg and it sounds amazing. Grindy walls of synth.

HOLY SHIT. YOU CAN BASICALLY PROGRAM BEATS WITH THIS THING.
Obviously in a very limited way, but beats + FM synth -> Fuck = :!!!:

This is the best purchase I've made for myself in so long.
& I can make ambient lofi loops with electric piano sounds and the el cap.
So fucking good.

I really like the MXR Bluebox on synths to thicken up the sound. I'd love to try an AB-Synth, Robot Devil, Bit Commander, or Octave Synth for more tonal variation.

There's a video with a guy playing a synth sample through a Perseus, and it sounds divine.

That sound on sound vidya is sweet.
There's a guy selling a PSS-570 around here for $60. Seems like it would be neato if I had some extra monies. I really gotta get the Electribe back from a friend after seeing this thread...

If I were you, I'd definitely try and get it. I'm really loving this thing.
Drones, ambient stuff, fuzz beats, it's fuckin' sweet.

Soft synths are awesome for the flexability and can do way more than this thing will ever do.
But I don't work well with those kind of interfaces, not for being creative with music at least.
& the sounds in this, while basic and limited, are rad.

Also, I take back what I said about my guitar. I can't get physical with a synth like I can with a guitar, but I feel more creative with the keyboard lay out since that's what I learned theory on.
