Yes. DADGAD and variations thereof. I use this tuning a lot in my solo stuff. Whether its droning metal riffs or spaced out ambient stuff. Its fun to play wide open chords up and down the neck with open tunings and see what kind of odd notes you can make.

Well it depends on how you do it, as with everything. Miley Cyrus' band uses a lot of power chords, and so do a lot of us..

Apparently Miley Cyrus smokes a ton of weed too.
Which is a great way to keep kids from smoking, if you think about it.
