I'm a medium shirt size (how did shirt sizes even start?!).

as Dmcmahon said, I also love surreal/abstract shit. And I love (the colour) green!

beyond that, i'm down with being surprised. theactionindex speaks troof.

anything fucked up, because i'll probably have it in a feedback loop, getting raped by my 4545, etc.

Pretty much I'm set on fuzz, but any fuzz I get will be loved. I always love playing with different delays, reverbs, octavers, and flangers, I've never really been able to get into filters, though. Noisy music toys and feedback loops would be more than welcome as well as anything my secret Santa wants to send my way

I'm a size M on shirts.

As far as movies go I'm pretty sure I'm just into weird shit (no torture-porn or anime though). But outside of that any grindhouse/arthouse film is probably one I'd enjoy.

I've been on a science-fiction kick lately with reading but I haven't read very much yet (i.e. no science fiction outside of Douglas Adams) I'm reading Martian Chronicles currently and likely will be reading it well into next year (i'm a slow reader). Never have enjoyed comics too much for some reason.

I've really been digging into the past for new music lately because I'm having trouble finding new good bands so anything contemporary (meaning new not contemporary) would be welcome as long as it isn't by Mike Patton.

Pedals: I'm finding myself in want of anything that does interesting and crazy stuff in a feedback loop (Utter Stutter). Not necessarily fuzz and definitely doesn't have to be a booteek/ILF pedal. Boss, Behringer, Digitech, whatever,...if it has a voice in a feedback loop,....I'll find it.

Also find myself lusting after Behndy's SS/BS Poly-Grace.

As a bassist,....I love gated and pinched sounding fuzzes. If you are a DIYer,....I'd love to have a go with a modded to be active friendlier Woolly Mammoth clone.

I'm a budding DIYer so I can always use parts,...caps, resistors, transistors, diodes, footswitches, jacks, plugs, cable, bus wire, 24AWG Wire, perfboard, enclosures. GGG/OLC/BYOC kits. If available,...gift certs to Mammoth,...TAYDA would go a long way. I need to build up my components stock so I can begin prototyping.

I'll be in need of some Copper Shielding Tape once I get my hands on my Tele Deluxe RI.

Books:
Paul Horowitz - The Art of Electronics
Don Lancaster Books - Active Filter Cookbook and CMOS Cookbook

;)

This all feels very self indulgent.

Hmmmmm. I'm a pretty simple dude.

If you make me a fuzz pedal with a glittery wee wee and rainbows on it, I'll love you forever.

But seriously, anything fuzz related, the weirder the better. Glitchy, gated, sputtery, loud, fuckin' heavyyyyyy etc., etc. Also looking for some sort of wacky ass modulation that can accomplish some settings on the more tame side as well. Kind of Pitch Pirate-esque, but on the cheapz of course. Delays and reverbs are ALWAYS a welcome addition. Oh! Also in the market for a new strap for my gitter (no leather por favor)

Shirt size: small. Yeah, I'm a petite man. Wanna fight about it?

Music: I trust the musical tastes of ILF members to deliver awesome sauce, so I'll just say surprise me with something. CD's and vinyl are muh go to platforms for such listening adventures.

Ummmmm aaaand OREOS are cool too. Lots of OREOS.

Honestly, someone making an effort and sending me something cool when they don't have to is awesome as it is, so I'm sure I won't be disappointed. :!!!:

Pedals: have quite a few normal sounding fuzzes, want some more weird experimental fuzzes (tgd, fuzz factory) or 8-bit fuzzes. I also really like vinyl. I listen to a lot of punk and really like Bob Dylan. I also love cool graphics on pedals.

I also love homemade pedals and music.

I would also like to try more modulation. (I hate flanger and chorus btw)

I've always wanted a Couch strap. I like all their designs, but the grey seatbelt one is my fav. I haven't had a guitar strap for a long time, so that'd be pretty cool. I also (in the process of moving) lost my JetSlide and I has a sad. I used that thing all the fucking time, but I now has none. My ring size is 11 in the case of the JetSlide.

And I like picks. I love to try new kinds of picks and misc. stuff like that all the time... I have a Jellifish around somewhere, but I like shit like that. So interesting picks and shit are always cool.

And I've always wanted to try guitar bowing for serious and this always intrigued me since there is hardly any information. It just seems so cool.

And of course the usual hometown goods (like tuffteef said) is what makes it really cool and unique.

I'm pretty easy. :idk: Anything that anyone gets me is cool with me, since I'm the kind of guy that will use anything someone gets me and, like, never get rid of it. I find a way to incorporate it into everyday life ("Wow, a used toothbrush?! I love it!"). So yeah, Secret Santa, go crazy.

Oh, we're doing shirt size? I'm a large, generally. I'm pretty tall, so the longer the shirt the better.

So....um......yeah.

I'm the type that prefers gifts of utility (shit I'll use often).
Like:

Strings!
Picks! (88's please)
Guitar Strap!
Or this strap! (ordered with the green on the inside and black on the outside)
Patch Cables! (4"-12")

I am pretty set on pedals but could always use a few more:

Meathead or Meathead DLX clone
Rat or Rat clone
MXR D+ or MXR D+ clone
Or whatever else you think I might enjoy.
The heavier the better!

Shirt Size: Extra Medium or Large to be safe.
I don't eat too many sweets and don't eat flesh (unless it's girl flesh) at all!
I like doomy, droney, gazey tunes and homemade porn. :animal:

If you live far away and postage is a hassle or live close by and postage is a hassle and you are buying new, you can always just ship direct to me (wrapping paper/smapping paper) and save postage$$$/hassles.

If you wait until the last minute and feel like a failure, fret not, a donation to :hobbes: http://www.fcnmhp.org :hobbes: will be appreciated as much as any gift you could give.

Also, I think it would be cool if everyone sent a 5 pack of ILF Stickers with their gift to show ILF love and as a thanks to Tom for keeping this train rolling.

Last but not least Thanks to Eric and Adrian for organizing this!

I'm good with anything, I like being surprised. Fuzz is always welcome, particularly something of the superfuzz variety, or anything octave. Filters, chorus, wah, flanger, overdrive, whatever is great also. Weird and noisy is good, but so is normal! The only things that I'd really say I'm good on are delay, trem and phaser, but even then I could put it in the loop of my Chk Chk Boom. Oh, I could use a good pedal tuner like a pitchblack or a polytune or something. I could also use a pedal board, as my pedals are all just spread out on the carpet right now. Hell, I'm good with anything, I'm not picky.

I'm definitely on the chubby side, so I wear XL t-shirts.

As for music, I listen to pretty much anything, and I could use some new music to listen to so if you want to throw that in, surprise me. CD, vinyl, digital, all good.

As far as snacks go, if I don't like it, my girlfriend probably will (we have pretty opposite snack food preferences) so you needn't worry about it going to waste.

I'm sure I'll be happy with whatever my secret santa gets me, I'm really looking forward to it!

TO WHOMEVER IT MAY CONCERN (MR/MS SECRET SANTA):

I'm fairly open-minded to pedals. Never owned a dedicated reverb pedal before, or a trem, for the matter. I've owned most of the DE line, and I don't currently have one, so, um, probably none of those. I dig boosts, and I love fuzz, as long as it's not too overwhelming on the low-end (I know, I'm weird). I enjoy pedals that make people uncomfortable. Also, stuff I can't break. I like things that are uncommon. Things that make people ask me questions. Things you like. What do you like? I'll probably dig it. I trust your judgment.

I'm a medium, shirt size. I dig bright shirts, and yet, I own a lot of black. Hence, it's whatever.

I want to hear your music. Plain and simple. Whatever you may have created, or, if that hasn't really happened (sorry if that's the case), whatever makes you WANT to create music.

I would totally dig some medium to heavy-ish picks, or strings of any sort at all (I play bass, sure, but I sure do restring a lot of guitars somehow, so if you have some guitar strings lying around, don't hesitate). I also break straps regularly, and I'm a fan of cheaper, or at least, nylon straps. Maybe those are connected.

I love candy, and soda. I don't drink or do whatever, so none of that. Also, I'm honestly not too big a fan of pornography, personally. I know, I'm weird.

If you have something lying around, just really, anything, I'd probably dig it.

Also, I love wrapped gifts. You better bring it in the wrapping department.

I love you.
