I'd rather take the $500 from the Ipad and get an opus 3. But, I'm also a loser luddite who can't afford an ipad.

Just spent the last hour or so playing around with this, lots of fun. I'd forgotten how badly I want a real synth, I'm contemplating selling a ton of shit in order to get one now.

They have basically the same OS, so it should be able to run on it.

Looks like I have to jailbreak my iPod. Hmmmmm. Maybe I'll wait a couple months until I get an iPad.

Hope they release a VST version soon. As cool as it looks, I don't really see myself buying an ipad anytime in the near future.

The interface is built for the screen real estate of the iPad. I can't imagine it being very easy to use on a Touch or an iPhone.

Ya. I'll probably wait 'till I get a Pad. At least I got it @ $0.99

I'm downloading the ikaossilator and the Filtatron. Another recently released App that is really good is Native Instruments iMaschine.

I have an Opus 3. It can't make many of the sounds that Animoog can.

I just tried to grab it for my phone as well, and there's no iPhone/iPod support as far as I can tell.

Needless to say, Animoog is great fun and probably even a useful sound tool. Want to run it into my chain, but I have a FireStudio to get running first (which it is not--something in my computer is very unhappy with the PreSonus software.)
