ya it is a bass into a sunn 200s. The eq on that amp is pretty dramatic so its nice for sculpting over the top fuzz to create nicer sounds. a clean blend might be a good look but i love pedals that you can get away with no knobs. I have a 10 band equalizer i usually put at the end of the chain so that helps make this pedal a bit more usable. Also i may have used MPSA13 which i think is Darlington instead of 2n5088. I dont remember. I do remember though that at some point using higher gain transistors just turned it into a radio.
