That's my old bass player from when I first started playing.
"This is Sydney. You can kick him if you'd like"
And people would.
He put up with it for years before having his girlfriend come begging me to stop having people do it.
Personally I'd blame him for not kicking them back even harder. If he did then that is a good bassist Part of my job is to poke people with my headstock to keep them away from the fucking micstands
No, sadly he was quite bad, but was a very good human bag.
I replaced him with a random member of the audience when he failed to show for a gig on my birthday, despite showing up earlier in the day to get drugs.
I really wasn't a nice person when I was younger I guess.
Not that I'm the king of the prom now.

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.
these really arent that bad. i bought one pretty cheap, $210 i think, just to have as a loud as hell backup to leave at the practice room and if you eq right it can hold its own. i replaced the shit-ass reverb tank with a bigass type 4 from accutronics before they folded, and it sounds really wet and quite good to my ear. the clean channel is all i use its crystal clear, and it takes pedals really good, loves my LSTR. the distortion channel is a joke.
my old bassist had one of those. had a ton of watts, it was cheap, had 2 inputs. all that being said, it sounded like a standard solid state comparable to the marshall MG as stated before. it's ok, it's just not something i'd brag about calling "the bizness". gets a decent clean tone and takes pedals, so how bad can it be?
