Silly Jaguar/Jazzmaster question

I usually used the rhythm circuit on my Jag for bowing, to help cut out some of the high harmonics I would sometimes get. I also used it to "starve" fuzz pedals. I'm not using it at the moment, though, because I broke the switch slamming my guitar onto a floor tom at a show.
