Jon and Gary and Ian, your new Trems are modded and in the mail tomorrow!

Just got it today and gave a quick test. Rate control checks out fine :thumb: Diggin' the stereo feature - need to get a TRS cable adapter or longer cables though. I can see a need for some kind of TRS patch bay if we are to have multiple Dr. scientist stereo pedals on a single board... always looking ahead.

Well if they were near each other when connecting stereo dr sci pedals together you could use just a stereo cable between them and not have to use a patch bay.

I got just got a Green Tremolessence from Vintagegitar.no (In Norway)
Mine is #222
There is a trimpot and a resistor near the on/off switch, does this mean it's already fixed ?

Thanks very much, Loztboy, and welcome to the forum!

Yessir, yours is modded and that trimpot and resistor you see are the mods. The trimpot dials in the location of the slowness on the rate knob, so if you want to change it a bit I'd put the rate knob at noon and then twiddle the trimpot and you'll see how you can affect the rate.. you can make it so the rate knob is mostly all slow or mostly all fast or somewhere in the middle, which is where I try to set it.

Thanks for the reply.
If I set the rate knob on full, I get some kind of Octave/pich effect :)
I guess I can fix that by tweaking the trimpot.

Does the neon green version have the same PCB as the first 100?
If so Is it possible to mod it back to "the first 100 spec"?
I can get a VTL5C3 from smallbear.

Right, that's on purpose.. you can't 'fix' that with the trimpot. The trimpot only sets where in the rotation the rate slows down, it doesn't limit the min or max rates.

The first 500 Trems will have the same pcb, I'll be making this version for awhile. Modding it back doesn't really make sense to me.. you'd just lose some min and max rates and it would be a lot of work just to take the pedal backwards. But yeah, you can do that if you like and you can see how to orient it in some of my older Trem threads.

Backwards through time and space?

Wow. Just had to join the forum and say how impressed I am with Ryan's customer service. Its often the little things that count, but it seems like a big deal to me to be offering to fix pedals for free AND cover shipping...BOTH ways! Nice. This just makes me want to buy something even more.
