Tim/Timmy wait time is not that long! It's about 4 months.

Low-gain OD is my favorite tone to work with as a "default." Just a bit of grit, and then when you kick a fuzz on over it, it's like magic.

Reverb after, always, of course. :!!!:

Yeah, but that was longer than the 2 weeks to shop via youtube and written reviews, get something, and attempt to bond with it before the gig.

Fuck yeah! I kept meaning to write to see how you liked it, but shit got crazy, and then i went on vacation, and... you know how that goes!

Haha no problem man I do that all the time. I don't mean any offense, I just forget.

But yeah I have to say you should totally get a ss/bs fuck overdrive. I rock an ac30 and a Tele (so pretty similar to your rig) and the fuck od makes my vox sound like it should. Or it makes it sound completely broken. Fuckin awesome :!!!:

Noise.. I totally use OD like that too. Just a slight crunch that cleans up easily with light picking as the base tone, then work from there. The fuck overdrive is amazing for that.

I dunno man... I feel like the Klon's custom built enclosure allows the electrons to live more freely
whereas with a Hammond enclosure crystal lattice thos electrons are simply crushed

Agreed. Klons definitely preserve those fragile harmonic overtones.

I've been a low gain OD guy for a long time. Heavy is in the notes, not the tone.

Yeah just listen to the end of "I Want You/ She's So Heavy" by the Beatles. I've always thought that part sounded heavy as fuck even though it's really not distorted or particularly aggressive sounding.
