Yeah my keyboard friend is the best! He also has a Nord (forgot what it's called.. Seventy-three?) which does some excellent Rhodes and organ sounds. It's digital and has a few emulation mode thingies but it sounds reeally good especially with delay.
I really need to get/build him a nice dark, modulated delay.

been wanting a nord lead 3 since forever. my friend had one at a record label when the label purchased it new. he slept in the studio playing with the nord and did 90% of the tracking on the nord for all the new songs. what a beast. I would buy a used nord lead 3 over a new little phatty. if I went analog, I would just go MOTM modular. you gotta love the sound of a oscillator running at 10v and overdriving a filter without even trying. no attenuator no problem
