I reeeally want one. Ring mod is the one thing I really miss from my SMMH that I sold and the Randy's Revenge sounds wayy better.

My friend has the Moog ring mod and that sounds awesome but the RR sounds better judging by demos.

Hopefully around 150-200, I'd put down money for that. 325 was a bit much though, I'm sure most people would agree on that. And thanks for the tip sylnau :thumb:

Totally forgot about this! I'm definitely interested, it's the best ring mod I've ever heard, and dat tremolo as well.. Only problem is can I justify the price for something I might not use that much? With the old one no, hopefully it'll be cheap enough.

We never know, but I'd be surprised to see it goes under 200$.

I heard from a little birdy that the RR is based on the old EHX Frequency Analyzer. Can anyone confirm, or at least has anyone else heard that rumor? The Freq Analyzer was always the sweetest sounding ring mod to me, but it's 40V which is a pain in the ass, and the bypass on those old boxes suck ass.

Negative, but that would be easy enough to add to the circuit. Just wondering since they kinda sound similar in the clips I've heard, and the Freq Analyzer has the filter switch, as well. Plus, I think I remember someone telling me that at one point. I guess I just want a freq analyzer that runs on 9V and maybe an exp jack. But you'd have to do some serious work to the power section to step 9V all the way up to 40V. Might be something fun to tinker with on my own.

I had heard that the Frantone Glacier is basically a modded Frequency Analyzer, and the RR sounds a lot better to me than the Glacier. So :idk:

Glacier cost a lot more then the ol' Randy's Revenge. So the new RR will be a must have.
