I just want to hold a Metasonix pedal. Trying it would be like sex. We expect a full report on all of these pedals stat!

Short note after giving all of these a little try:

I think I am now a Mid-Fi fan. The demo tape fuzz and the clean clari are for me the most usable of this lot.
The Green Monster and Rattle Crow are set aside for further inspection, the 88 isn't my cup of tea.
Metasonix is nice but not quite nice enough yet. I will have to try this at more volume than my appartment allows. Same goes for the BAT pedals. Both were nice but did not blow me away (yet).
The bit commander is awesome, especially when run into the harmony synth. The dirt transmitter seems very nice too, but a tiny bit similar in sound to the demo tape and that one has the awesome fuzz-gate function.

What do you think of the Heliotrope?

Definitely not for me. If I were more into harsh noise this would be something, but as it is it's definitely not right. It is pretty original, I think. Unlike any real bitcrusher I have heard (never in person) but somehow like a juicier, less 'technic' version of a bitcrusher.

This is of course awesome as a collectible device, but it is a clean boost. It does very little colouring and sounds pretty cool. But I think I will be able to do without.

Ah, so it doesn't actually do anything to the tone? Mm. I think I'll just copy the enclosure. :)

I would say it darkens the sound quite obvious.
