RESURRECTED.
What instruments/sound sources did you use?
For the chords/melody, I'm guessing an electric piano (or is it a synth)?
How bout the others?

it was all "in the box", so everything was samples (that i made myself) or synths.
piano - a sample of one note of a recording i did in college. i mapped it to the ASCII computer keyboard and played both the chords and melody live in 2 separate takes.
one of the loops (the warble-y arpeggio) was made using the m-tron (mellotron emulator) on the vibes setting going through some soft clipping plugin then 3 bluetubes echo/delays with different settings.
one of the loops was definitely done with an arturia ARP 2600 V plug-in. can't remember the patch for the life of me though.
2 of the noise loops were built using really old samples that i made many years ago... can't remember any of the sources but i sampled a lot of random stuff.
2 more loops... i can't remember! i'll check when i break out my hard drive this weekend and go through everything for more details.

Re: my ambient jams
RESURRECTED ONCE AGAIN.
Can this still happen? I listened to this piece at work the other day and I was blown away all over again. So beautiful.
Also, off topic, but I saw Lenses Alien at my local library and I thought that was pretty cool.

Re: my ambient jams
necro bump. i did a thing in november for stompbox sonic's 7-year anniversary and i really like how it turned out.
CP-70 improvisation in stereo with 2 pedal boards and 2 amps - the recording doesn't really capture the stereo field but it was cool in the room. i don't use too many pedals, mostly a big box DMM, RV-5, pretty years, tafm and 2 DL4s.
