I'm probably picking Timeline up around Christmas. I'm definitely picking up an El Capistan within the next month.

I recommend the former for your needs. I recommend the latter in general.

that is the one thing the time bender won't do that I wish it did, run delays into each other.
It's why I still keep 2 other delays on my board.

Another Timeline vote here.

It quickly replaced all of my delay except the E600d. Plus it's a pretty tiny footprint considering the shit ton of options/features included.

The looper sounds fantastic too and can be used pre or post delay, with all delay modes and parameters available. Sounds way better than the Timefactor to me. Haven't had the opportunity to try a Superdelay, hear nothing but praise.

Timebender here as well.

I have other delays as well, but it's the 'first go to' unless I want retro shredder-era pan around the room stuff. It does panning and stereo field well, but isn't as adjustable as my rack units.

Another plus for the Timebender - a used one costs half as much as the fancy shit.

and that's why i'm holding back and still keeping my Wampler FTE and not buying it because i'm afraid i wouldn't use it enough for over 300€ used

a) I have had 3 other delays all different ranges. It can easily cop those sounds and more, and I have yet to scratch the surface.
b) yes.
c) mix knob is your best friend, going from super wet to just a little on the top.

The Lunar Echo sounds great, has spiffy modulation, wrecked mode and a take-off footswitch, new version comes with an FX-loop. It's my and theactionindex's favourite delay, but it doesn't have as many modes as the timeline, superdelay or Echolution. Then again, it's delay, you need at least 2 pedals, so you can get one of the feature laden ones and add a Lunar Echo, which has wait list.

I guess it all depends on what would suit your needs best. The Lunar Echo isn't super packed with tons of modes and features but what it does gives you a boner, it does exceedingly well. The modulation is incredibly fun, going from very subtle chorusing to all out wacky pitch bending shit, in addition to anything you want to put in the fx loop and you have a pretty wide array of possible sounds. (and it is indeed my favorite delay )

The Superdelay is also great in its own right. You can obviously achieve longer delay times without self-oscillation, various modes of reverse delay, a short but fun looper, etc. and despite being a digital delay it's far from sterile sounding. It has a very subtle, but great sounding modulation with a few selections regarding intensity in the tape setting and high/low pass filter options.

Or buy both and have the ultimate ill type delay sound.
