The Jack Casady bass & the Les Paul it's based on are offset semi-hollows.

But they're also basses.

Goddamn. You can keep the cream pickup covers though.
I wish I liked playing guitar enough to drop a sum of money on that one.

Fender Japan has semi-hollow Jazzmasters and Jaguars... but they're also, you know, Fender Japan. And they get all the cool things for some reason.

Ughhhhhh I hate Fender Japan, they just have everything. That NEEDS to be a thing everywhere else.

:( They're really expensive, even in Japan.

is it just me, or does hollowing out the left lower bout of a body the size and dimensions of a Jaguar seem sort of pointless? how much are you actually gaining when it's already routed for controls top, bottom, and rear plus the pickups and vibrato? it's already ~50% chambered as-is, innit?

This is my first exposure to that thing. Don't mind it at all, however, it's seems like if Jeep started making motorcycles. I'm sure they could do a great job, but it's just outside of how ya know the company, dig?

exactly! i mean, if Ibanez can make good hollowbodies and have the boner-inducing artists series, why can't ESP make offset hollowbodies?

Yeah, they already have quite a lot routed out, it just looks so awesome. :joy:

I have two ESP Hybrids, and those are good as hell. No reason they couldn't make a good offset semi-hollow. Agreed on that headstock badging though... Fugzzzzzzzzzz.
