The Caddy Burst is super cool! Get that shit, the Caddy Burst!

...Mustang Trunk Liner if you're feeling frisky, coolest Couch I own. The Brown Luggage Deadstock is also a solid choice.

I use a Runway Yellow with a Tele that looks almost exactly like that (except with a white pick guard), looks awesome. Will get you a pic!

EDIT: There

Are the Couch strap good on the guitar finish?
I might order a dark red Mercedes strap.

I have the brown western strap on my blonde tele and it sure looks snazzy. The caddy sunburst is a good choice too, I've got that on my strat.

I know there's some concern with vinyl straps and Nitro finish damage, a bit leery myself when I ordered so I gave the Couch guys a call for some info.

They stated that in all the 1000's of Couch straps sold, they've had no complaints regarding finish damage thus far. They do suggest precautions such as removing the strap when not in use and avoiding storage in the hardcase (on guitar or in storage compartment), just to be safe.

I use their stuff regularly on three Nitro finishers, no issues of any sort...

I'm looking to replace my 15 year old strap.
I might order this one:

or a Souldier...

Which one you guys prefer?

My guitar back is dark red and front vintage sunburst.

I like the Couch stuff but I'm a sucker for their "deadstock" straps, really visually appealing to me. They're also super sturdy, actually a bit stiff when new, but after breaking in mine feel perfect and seem super rugged. The Mercedes options are super cool, and quite unique.

Never tried the Souldier stuff but I've been reading good things.

As for a preference between the two above, I like the simplicity of the Couch...

That Souldier one looks like some old hippy shit to me.

But that may be the aesthetic you're going for.

I prefer the Souldier ones myself, and made in Chicago. And Wilco has signature straps
