How do the molded ones fit? I absolutely hate the feeling of earplugs, so much that it really bothers me and takes away all the fun, which is why I never use them for shows. (Rehearsals are pretty tame with my band) If it gets REALLY at a show loud, I'd use cigarette filters.

After a min. I forget they are in. Great investment. They seem really expensive until you use them, than you can feel and hear the value.

I'm really glad I got my earplugs made, I just leave them in the whole time at shows and am able to have conversations with people.

earplugs are without a doubt the best investment you can make if you plan on playing music for your whole life at anything over acoustic levels. you can visit an audiologist and get them made very easily - you do need to get new molds made every few years if you use them very often or if your weight has significantly fluctuated as small spaces can develop between the molds and your canal, letting in sound. i just got re-molded about a week ago for the ones that i've had for about 6 years (probably went a year or two too long) and i've been wearing molded plugs for almost a decade now. i believe they're also the westone brand, though i don't think it really matters too much. i use 15dB filters and they're just right. as derelict said, they are molded for your ear so once they're in you barely notice them.

i've been wanting some molded plugs for a while now. for as much as i play, i should really ditch these cheap "hearos" or whatever
