Just fuzz... I think this is pretty accurate:

1987-1990
Big Muff (not sure which version, never mattered to me before I joined ILF, now I'm kinda curious)
MXR Dist+
Little Big Muff
Graphic Fuzz (EHX with the EQ, not the earlier pedal named GF)
Rat2
(then a long time with amp distortion or distortion pedals, tho I still have the first four of those fuzz pedals)

2010
Ibanez 60's Fuzz soundtank (crap, might thave been 2009?)
Dunlop/WH Swollen Pickle mk2

2011
Katanasound Thundercloud
(then I joined ILF to say 'thanks' to Mudfuzz for TC demos)
DE Cherry Pop (sold)
Dwarfcraft Plane Ticket +
EQD Monarch
Meathead Dark clone
Megalith (temp trade!)
OXfuzz Dark (temp trade!)
Pharoah the 1st (traded away)
Shoegazer (sold)
Megalith
Pharoah the 2nd
Seppuku Octave Drone

Next on my want list are Fuzzrite and fOXX Tone Machine clones.

Big Muff Pie was my first ever pedal. Kinda wish I still had it to mod the crap out of it.

Music Electronix Messdrive + (gone as well)

Malekko B:assmaster (won't go away unless I can find one with the low end mod)

Wren and Cuff Pickle Pie "B" (perfect for me)

Granted I've tried a bunch of other ones but didn't buy due to them not sounding like I want them to.
awesome signature with witty quotes from all you fuckers :)

I didn't really start accumulating effects until after 2008...from 1983 until then all i had was the legendary and loveable 70s MXR Distortion+ i've mentioned more times than the loony Right mentioned Obama's birth certificate. once i started recording with GarageBand on the Mac i got a PodXT to use for amp and environment simulations, but wasn't moved to start buying real-world fx because the stuff i was interested in was mostly vintage or rack stuff which was insanely expensive, and i preferred my D+ to anything else i heard dirt-wise for the styles i played.

then My Bloody Valentine reformed and went out on tour, and subsequently someone on one of the Gretsch guitar forums linked to the photos from the Zvex forum making snarky comments about how huge the board was...there's an element there which thinks anything other than spring reverb is The Devil's Work or summat. anyway, that led me to the thread on the MBV forum about Kevin's effects history, and i got a Truly Beautiful Disaster, two Guvnor IIs that i ran in series for a Bob Mould-style compression effect, a Yamaha GEP50 and SPX90, and an Alesis MidiVerb II. but this is supposed to be about dirt.

it was shortly after that i found ILF. i'll try and keep the subsequent acquisitions in order:

fh(fx) Phantom Ring
fh(fx) Algal Bloom
3Xfx Fatman
fh(fx) Velcroar (used)
mellowtone Hi Five
fh(fx) 3-knob Heartben Great Wall (used)
EQD Tone Reaper
EQD Sound Shank

i currently use Hi 5->D+->Tone Reaper->Sound Shank->Algal Bloom.

i used a borrowed NYC Muff for a few months in 1982 and hated it. i've never owned a Fuzz Face or a Rat.

First fuzz was a triangle Big Muff some time in the early 80s. ... fast forward ... some muffs, a few Fuzzrites, some other fuzz in between then and now.

I like my jerms MkI Tone Bender though.

My first was a NYC reissue Big Muff Pi. I've had...a lot since then.

The only one I'm gigging with right now is a Chicago Iron Octavian Plus.

Mine's pretty weak, but it'll grow with time.

Non fuzz:

Marshall Guvnor 2
EHX Double Muff
'79 MXR Distortion +

Fuzz:
Dano Fab Fuzz
and hopefully a deviever Ruby and/or an NYC Muff in the next week or so.
