If you want something a little fancier (and a lot more expensive) you can get the Lou Pallo Signature LP:

i played one of the gary moore bfgs at guitar center for about 15-20 minutes last x-mas eve. the neck was the beefier neck not the 60's slim taper or what ever they call it. the neck was smooth and very similar to the satin finish as schnikes said. les paul studio quality body when you knock on it.

i sorta liked the silver burst one they had out a few years back but i never saw one in person.

It's like playing a snake. Or The Matrix. Or the optical camouflage from the first Metal Gear Solid.

In real life, they're dark. A really dark green. Almost black.

I'm probably just dreaming. I'd have to sell my HOG + a bunch of other stuff.

like i said, i liked it a lot (and i'm not really into short scale gibson stuff)

I play with a guy who has one...was never a P90 man before, and this thing convinced me.
The silverburst has actually gotten better with use and age, as the darkened parts of the finish sort of wore off both the front of the body and back of the neck...cool effect.
I don't love much of the shite gibson is peddling these days, but he got a good one, and a good deal on it. Seems like the $$$ is a bit nuts for these now though...
