glad you showed up!
feel free to bump this thread as often as you want and inform us of as much as possible.

& to be honest, in all my years of boarding there really isn't any trolling here on ILF, it's really pleasant here. only love

There has been many a time I've come close to getting a Noisebox...just haven't gone over the edge yet.

It sounds like a pedal that would stack really well with fuzz and/or distortion boxes, like an always on kind of thing.

The liquid sunshine?

it's good for boosting gated fuzzes too

Mostly that we thought it would be finished in September, and that everyone knew about it. So dealers were sitting on the fence for months waiting. Constantly asking when it would be done, but not placing orders unless they ran out of absolutely everything. The QDLX nearly put us out of business.

We have four more pedals which I intend to have out this year. One of them has a similar approach to the QDLX, but I won't say more than that for right now. One is a fuzz of the very non-standard variety. (I've actually been working on that this afternoon) Then there are a couple more that are a completely new kinda thing for us, and still need a lot more work.

Brian--this is flippin' sweet news--all of it. I don't blame you for holdin' your cards close to the vest--I know I will be keeping an eye out, and it sounds like a bunch of other ILFers will too...thanks for stopping by!

And thank you Eric, for asking the question that had to be asked! :thumb:

OK, so I was told by someone in this thread (with possibly little to no authority here on ILF) that I could bump this thread if I had anything I wanted to share.

I thought maybe you guys would appreciate this. If not, please kindly tell me to fuck off.

This is something we have been working on for so long it was starting to feel like it would never be finished... but finally it's coming together.

so here's a pic.

It is both more crazy than it looks, but still seems pretty easy to use once you wrap your brain around it.

Holy Shit! :!!!:
I love my normal prometheus! Now this! And Expression!
Does the expression jack takes CV signals?

It's set up for 0-5V CV, but uses a Tip/ring/sleeve plug. The ring is 5V to get voltage to the expression pedal, so plugging a standard tip/sleeve plug in there will short it out. So you will have to be careful to use a t/r/s cable and be sure the sleeve is not connected to anything... or if you want to be really safe, make your own cable.

it's quite similar when the shape knob is set to random. That's the one to the left. But it also does a bunch of other step wave forms as well with normal LFO's. you use the warp knob to control how fast the underlying LFO goes in relation to the step rate. and yeah, tap tempo.

That's only one of the things it does though.

There are basically 9 functions with lots of different variations
-analog envelope (up and down)
-tap tempo step filter
-trigger filter (tap switch twice and LFO triggers once)
-manual LFO- use warp knob to adjust speed manually- tap/hold switch momentarily stops the LFO.
-warp LFO- tap tempo LFO driven auto wah. warp knob warps wave shape.
-pixelated envelope- basically sample hold of the envelope follower with tap tempo. (i dont think anyone has ever done this before)
-envelope trigger- envelope triggers LFO, also tap tempo, but only at a 1x ratio.
-envelope manual LFO- auto wah where envelope controls the speed
-envelope LFO- similar to the envelope manual LFO, but it works a little differently.
