I'd have to sell a lot of pedals for this guy, and I just don't think I can do it. If the looper functions similarly to the m9, i'd get rid of that and this instead.

Same here... I prefer to keep my SuperDelay (which have a looper). And maybe keep my money for a DMB Lunar Echo lator.
But it look like a super cool pedal!!

So what is the extra footswitch that lets you access the reverse, and half speed?
I'm wondering with the looper, how hard it is to control your levels.

Curious about the looper myself, not much info released on it. Hoping it's similar to the DL4, greatest looper functionality EVER!

It's pretty amazing how much press this thing got... funny if there's a bunch of bugs in the first bunch. I laughed when I saw one listed on eBay no more than a couple of minutes after it all sold out on the website. People are fucking lol.

Seems to have gone in approx. 5 minutes. That's mental.
Here in Europe we'll have to wait for another month at least (most likely, they will be actually two...).

Yeah, lol, I didn't even get one they sold too fast. Oh well, some more waiting won't kill me. Prolly gonna be 3-4 weeks for the next batch.

Looper?
I'll be watching for demos and comments on the looper. If it's a good one, the pedal gets a big jump over aspirational status for me.

i get the feeling the loopers going to be a little lack luster just based on my experience with the el capistan's "looper"

The El Capistan's looper is a "sound on sound" looper... everything about that pedal is supposed to emulate a tape machine. It functions nothing like a conventional looper, which I gather the Timeline will be. So fear not young padawan.
I had plans to wait on the 2nd or 3rd batch to make the upgrade, but man was it tempting to go for one last night. It didn't help that my wife was like "you sure you want the Space for your birthday instead?" dammit woman, I've got a plan for it all. Don't make me loose my focus.

When the timeline is right (punny) expect to see the Brig show up in the b/s/t for cheapish.
