As for shipping damage, they're all equally capable of producing that, unfortunately.
Actually, it's very rare that stores want their pedals shipped by UPS.. for the same reason that I don't like to receive expensive packages by it.. their brutal brokerage and duty fees. They're fast but they're really expensive, like a few hundred dollars on a few thousand dollar shipment. Most stores just have orders in for 5 to 20 pedals and the UPS shipping would cut into their margin way too much so they're waiting out the strike. We can't really ship at all and that's what's so frustrating about the strike, it's hurting the Canadian economy. Canada Post is a necessary governmental institution and in a time where most Canadians are wanting to work hard and make some progress the flippin post office decides to do the opposite. Geeez I could rant about this a lot, haha!

so what are you doing with your holidays?
I went to a rib fest last week @ nx... two full racks of heaven were had. best summer so far.
I've been keeping busy, I was just teasing about the holiday... I've been making the last of the blue trems and a bunch of neon green blems, getting ready for the return of the post. The Elements pcbs came in yesterday too (so yes, thank God for UPS I guess, ha!) so I've got those to build.
I like your style though, Kev, rib fest! That would take my mind off the strike! (PS - I've got a 2x12 Traynor cab upstairs, thank God for FedEx too)

The government will probably be forcing them back to work by the end of the week but there could be at least one (if not more) week of strike still. So we haven't been able to send out any batches in the last week.
I have a 75 Epiphone Crestwood sitting somewhere in Ottawa right now, IT'S RIGHT NEXT TO THE MICHIGAN THUMB.

Craziness up there, ya'll. Looks like the end is near.
For tose waiting on the fat new trem, I can heartily say it's worth the wait! Just got my sparkleblue one a couple of days ago. Never thought it would happen but my John Deere green Diamond trem (also an excellent trem BTW) got bumped! Tonal awesomosity and all the shapes and stutters you could want accessed by intuitive controls. Ryan's really nailed it!

Quick question: are you guys still doing any custom work (for the finishes)? My sister wanted to get me one of your fantastic pedals for graduation but she wants it to be "special and unique"...just curious so I can report back.

Has your guitar moved yet, Jared? The strike is over but I could see it taking them a couple days to get their act together, they must have a huge pile of packages to sort through plus their attitudes are probably on the pissy side.
Haha you be creepin too hey? (are you a Lonely Island fan too? do you want to start a comedy rap group??)

That's awesome to read, Ted, thanks a million! Really glad to hear you like it!

I'm sorry but no, no more vinyl finishes at all actually. Tanya stopped doing them awhile ago and she's not missing them, they're fully retired until further notice and I could see it being forever. *apologies to your sister, it's a lovely idea!* Howsabout a "special and unique" discount to celebrate your graduation? Congratulations for it, we're very proud of you!

Bummer! I love the vinyl finish on my Cosmichorus. I can see how it would be pretty impractical with the amount of pedals you guys must be crankin out though.

Haha yeah! We only did about 200 of the v2 Cosmichorus, maybe half a dozen or 10 in your finish. I betcha we'll do a powder coat/screen print version of the green galaxy finish for the new version, we both like that one a lot.

I love the vinyl finishes too, they're so unique and cool looking... but they take forever. The amount of hours it took her to do 50 finishes in a month was unreasonable. We do about 100 - 125 pedals a month now (depending on the setbacks) and Tanya's free to enjoy her life and other interests that she put on hold for the last 5 years, so we're happy with the arrangement.
