I know it is offset, but about half of us don't consider it in that family, which is OK, there are tons of things in this world that people don't define by a Websters dictionary definition.

Oh man, don't throw hard numbers in my face. I am mathed out for the week.
It's probably under 20% by now.
I know it isn't a logic argument or that important, but it has made my Saturday in the office way better.
So how I see it is
A Jazz Bass IS an offset waste guitar
but an offset Waste guitar is NOT a jazz bass
....yeah that looks about right

True, I don't immediately leap to "Jazz Bass" when someone says "offset guitar". But it's still offset.
