im still buying a 6x12 or 8x10
ill somehow manage and everyone will see my buttcrack as i attempt to take it off stage

Me too, bro. I just hooked up my Genesis again, and remembered how hard MK3 is.

you need the kind of larger-wheel casters with the sockets that set into the bottom of the cabs like Fender amps have. those bolt-onto-the-bottom dealies are inevitably going to shear from going up and down stairs; it's simple physics. even if you use stove bolts to attach them on the notion that the screws/bolts won't pull out/break or the heads fail, the caster brackets themselves will eventually fail from the lateral forces of being struck on the stairs, stage edges, vehicle beds, etc. PLUS Fender-type casters have the added benefit that you can install the casters on the bottom of a cabinet or combo amp, have the amp transportable in correct THIS SIDE UP orientation, remove them, and place the amp onstage in correct orientation without the casters interfering or needing to be blocked off/locked.
