Nope, it does the opposite. Dirty ripping square octaves.

you don't hate us, but do you love us enough for an awesome pre-release sale. :idk:

I'm excited to hear this and the other 3 that are forthcoming...will the release of those be staggered or can we expect them soon?

any similarities of this pedal to the old pearl octaver? any comparisons on sound to subdecay's new synth pedal?

The first run isn't big enough to do a pre-release sale, we couldn't get enough transformers to do a larger run up front. It sounds nothing like the pearl and I haven't really heard enough of the subdecay pedal to give an opinion. From the control layout, I would say it's nothing like the subdecay pedal either. It's kinda like a moog rogue as a guitar effect without any of the extra frills. A dawn of the synthesizer type of sound. We'll be making a demo video sometime this week.

The other pedals will probably take us into jan/feb of 2012 before they are all released, even though we pretty much have everything in hand. The cats will be out if the bag at summer NAMM so y'all will know what they all are then.

This looks badass! Any relation to a Conn Multivider by chance?

Also, was in Main Drag Music in Brooklyn yesterday and dudes were hyping up your wares.

I've never heard the conn multivider before. I tried to buy one on eBay based on looks alone but I lost the auction. The bit commander isn't based on any existing pedal that I know of. I also own zero guitar synth pedals so I can't really compare it to anything. All I know is that it sounds exactly like the sound I hear in my head when I think "guitar synth". Ripping octaves with a jagged sustain and trail off and no annoying envelope. Also, if you play through it with care it'll cut nearly dead silent between staccato notes which makes it sound like hitting keys.

I'm still kinda curious to hear how this compares to the Subdecay Octasynth :erm:

Also, on an unrelated note..a question for earthdevice...is your avatar based on the logo of the band Samhain? :poke:
