It'll react with all the nasty smoke smell and then it just rinses out. Follow up with a hand wash of a tiny amount of laundry detergent in warm water, then either hang dry or put out in the sun for maximum de-stinking. Since you can't put it outside, string it up in any south or west-facing windows you've got for a couple days, after washing.
Edit: strangely, the other thing I found that took smoke smell out is pet enzyme cleaner. It also seems to make the smoke smell undergo some reaction, which then just rinses out. (I moved in with my grandma for a bit, and people had smoked in that home for 60+ years, so the walls would drip nicotine when I took a shower. Consequently I spent a lot of time trying to get the smoke smell out of things.)
Of course then you start moving cocaine disguised as the product while you go on a manic coke-fueled ad campaign which ultimately ends in you being poisoned by East Coast cartels because you were cutting their shipments with the Oxy-clean, but it just gets blamed as a heart-attack due to years of heavy cocaine usage.
Yeah, air and ventilation will always help any kind of stank. Some just take longer to destank. Maybe a fan?

Speaking of smoking....bad transition.....I was given a free carton, does anyone want them? US of course and You must prove you are 18 or at least try.
I get back next week I was gonna dump them in the hotel but if I have room I will just bring them with me and somebody can have them,
As far as the smell, I imagine the same rules apply to thrift store gear which I usually hang a an air freshener on and just keep in a nice breeze for a few days.
Edit: Gave the cigarettes to some factory workers.
