That's cool man, 4545 is crazy. I know you mentioned the blunderbuss being good for that trashy Times New Viking sound.... But man the 4545 does that in spades. I had an OG and I bet it's easier with the gate. Keep in mind the treble trimmer. It can be your best friend.

On waitlist for sola sound/dam mk1.5. Gonna sell fulldrive 2 to fund colorsound overdriver, sending down payment on emperor 4x12 (or 6x12 haven't decided) shortly. Dropping cash on an SG and a bigsby for it this summer (July maybe).

That said, I tore almost everything off my board when I got the EQD Hoof and Ghost Echo. I suspect it'll get slimmed down even more when the McSpunckle And Aardvarks gets here. I really can get by with just an OD, FH Algal Bloom, EQD Hoof, vol pedal, Ghost Echo, and EQ in my pedal chain. Nicer modulation will have to wait for some other day.

Still gotta figure out what to do with my AB-Synth, since I don't use it that much. My silicon fuzz face is a neat sound but I can cover its sounds with some knob turning.

And I need a new amp, and a band. I want to play alt-country by way of Wilco's A Ghost is Born, that is, atmospheric stuff and psychedelica guitar riffs in-between songs about love, life, and loss..

I have a lovely lovely 1x15 coming, to put under my busted-ass 4x10 which I think has a broken speaker or three. But it adds to teh fuzz. It's necessary for gigging, the 1x15. And it's on trade, weehoo.

Working in this bum-ass theater, not even making $9/hour though I've been there for over four years. I do a ton of work there... It's about time I find a big boy job. Even though I have two years of school left and haven't accumulated a lot as far as occupational skills. I can program java?

I live about 45 minutes from school. Commuting every day sucks, especially with my bum-ass car with 273000+ miles, and gas is finally starting to hike up around these parts. Hence moving to an apartment less than 5 minutes from school (and bringing my guitarist along with me, woot).

Are you trying to get Clowningonbitches era TNV type scuzz or post-clowningonbitches era? At 1 point it was cheap tape deck as fuzz + cheap strat + jcm800

I'm very happy with my set up these days. Just looking for another bass cab, and waiting on the Vox Dynamic Looper to come out in a few days. Happy with my amps, and don't really have too much gas for pedals right now. Ryan is sending me a RRR, really looking forward to that. Otherwise, building pretty consistently, and trying to finish up a pedal design.

Brian's gonna be making me a fuck with a totally sweet custom finish I'm super excited about that. I just ordered a new 5AR4 for my ac30 (which has been out for months).

Not trying for anything, I don't think. I'd previously described the the Blunderbuss as being capable of Times New Viking-on-record-esque sounds. When I saw them a while ago, I think the fella was using two black BMPs duct taped together, Squire strat, JCM800, no tape deck I could see. I'm not in love with them or their sounds, but it seemed like an apt description.

No indictment at all, just being ridiculous + the description is pretty apt.

There are like 3 $300+ items that I have been lusting over sitting in the B/S/T and I very recently lost my jerb.

That being said, been using the downtime to play a ton of guitar and teaching myself the joys of cooking.

How do you get on DAM lists? I've always been interested in the red rooster, meathead, and dragonfly.
