I would say it gives a more serious nudge to the treble. Would also say that it boosts the uppers mids as well. I am liking it with my rig...which is a Juke...more of an old school Americana eq....I tried it with a Budda stack, though, and I thought it really sounded congested, muddy, whatever terms you like for such things. Boosted the bass in the wrong place for my liking with that amp..
