Late 50's Les Pauls. Ridiculous money people ask and you still have to do the routing for a Floyd and the battery for the EMG's.

The grey DOD 250 is my all time favorite overdrive.
I actually think it should go for more than it usually does.

I don't really understand the mentality that if something costs more than 100$ then it is over priced and not worth it?
who cares how much something is? if you don't like it, then don't buy it/ :idk:

not trying to open a can of worms here, but $400 is not a lot of money when you can turn around and sell it for just as much if you didn't like it.

+1 on the rickenbacker. they made a guitar with a trem that will damage the finish of the guitar if you use it. this horribly designed guitar can be yours for a 2 year wait and $3600

dumble is overpriced when you dont get your amp and alexander dumble wont return your emails.

I will never pay $400 dollars for a guitar pedal especially an old pedal that's price is based on some bullshit mojo that doesn't exist!

yeah, but that's you.
and I don't think "mojo" has anything do with it actually sounding good.
That particular pedal has nothing special inside of it, but its a great overdrive (which I usually hate) that retains a nice, heavy low-end.

but again, just because you would never spend that much on a pedal doesn't mean that its overpriced/

But thats usually one of many excuses people use to justify the price tag which is lame very very lame.

why do you care what other people do with their money?
who needs an excuse?

something sounds good, you either have enough money to buy it or you don't?
what's the big deal?

Only time something like that is lame to me is when I want one, but can't afford one. ;)

PDS-8000, Space Station, vintage super fuzzes etc.

the only mojo that exists are outdated building practices that no one does anymore, like gold foil pickups, inefficient breadboards, and germy circuits (no longer a thing), and odd pickups.

though aged wood does sound better.

in some cases old wood might make a difference
being built really good helps haha

ive owned plenty of old guitars old wood so on forth that were fine but not terrific
ive had some new reissue ones that blew the old ones out of the water in sound

its annoying cause you really gotta go through a bunch till u hit the jackpot on it
and with the internet buying it makes it harder

oh well
