Maybe the Gnomeratron is the answer. Has lots of features but all of them seem to be useful and musical. And it has the trimmers on the side. Doesn't one of those control input gain?

I might be crazy but I often like the sounds I am getting out of my fuzz pedals with the gain turned way down.

So am I correct in thinking the gnomeratron vtf would be a good choice as THE one-and-only fuzz box?
i like crazy high gain and a lot of very low gain settings too, full spectrum from subtle dirt to insanity.
My personal toss-up at this point is between getting the delux vtf or the iron ether oxide fuzz. (for bass)
i also have a keen eye on one of those TAFMs.

It's a tough choice between the TAFM and Gnomeratron (standard) for me. I don't yet have a clear winner.
