I quite like the look of that tele bass, but the BSB on the guitar doesn't look right at all with the pine grain showing. I like the white better.
Not that it matters for $300 though.

I think there is just enough room for for a mudbucker between the pickup and neck..... someone should get on that

i love my white tele! well, i do hate the neck...

I like the bass and its massive pickguard. I gotta say that trans finish isn't really doing it for me though

There's also a blue metallic finish available. Might be one of those old custom colors, but it looks disappointingly non-vintage to me, especially for that setup.

I think he mostly uses sg basses and the split coil style p basses

But he has played these though right, if I recall he played them in the Minutemen and Firehose as well as his first solo album Ball Hog or Tugboat.

Yup, he played one when I saw them live too. And also, THE SWORD RULES.
The metalhead in me has to say that whenever that band is mentioned. They're the only band I own not just one, but two shirts with their name on it.
