yah srsly, you could pick up a pawn shop guitar like that for $500 tops, although I did see a Tobias six string bass in a pawn shop yesterday for $800.

I like how the red Mustang is hanging next to a completely-rusted shotgun.

The guard is mint, I dig it.
I'm curious to how the necks feel, the other $800-ish fenders (Baja teles/Road worn) had amazing necks.

Too expensive, too facetious. Also, why semi-hollow? I hate that f-hole placement.

$800 for a '51 smacks of a gag. Although it does match up well to Fender's idea of "value." Hmm.

If this is an april fools joke, they started waaaayyyyyyyy too early. info on these has been leaking fr a couple weeks.
And the 51s look like fucking shit.
Of course, they discontinued the Squier 51, because who would buy one for $800 when you could get it for $100?

PUKE FUCK CAT ASS BALLS

Hilarious that they (IF they) finally made a fender based on one of the coolest squier's ever built, the super cheap and super cult squier '51....

It would be cooler if you couldn't still get the original squier 51s for less then $200
