Let's not forget that pee is more conductive than water. Water isn't a very good conductor, so it'll often times just be enough to make the circuits glitch. Pee, on the other hand, is full of other things that make it more conductive. That's why you don't pee outside in a lightning storm without first putting on your steel dick sheath.

Years ago, on a gig of my old band my WHOLE PEDAL SETUP was flooded with beer and blood from smashed beer glasses, in middle of a solo part. This shit happens in the small clubs, with intese shows and overtly enthusiastic audience that has had at least two or three too many already. Enraged as I was, I almost managed to smack that guy in the front row wth my bass headstock (luckly - for both of us - I missed). Continued the show as if nothing much had happened. My first run early Marshall Guv'nor died, however, during the last songs, the rest of the pedals didn't ever notice being baptised with beer and blood.

Drank myself amiable after the gig, forgave the guys in the front row, had the gear taken back at rehearsal place and took the pedals home. Left them under the window, in the sun for a few days as suggested by an old roadie at the club who saw the episode. Lo and behold - on the third day (might have been the fourth, really) the Guv'nor rise from its untimely mortal sleep and it worked as if nothing had happened.

Moral of the story: Go drink Yourself amiable, forgive Your dog, leave the pedal alone; check back the pedal in afew days and clean it up if necessary, and - hopefully - it will be all fine, and You and Your dog can remember to this episode laughing afterwards.

You may have to clean it up inside... I imagine it's corrosive and if you just leave it it'll start eating away.

yes, rice will even absorb piss. Pour it inside the pedal and leave it for a day or 2. It will draw all of the moisture out and then you can wipe any existing salty urine out with rubbing alcohol..

I would say try the dry rice and rubbing alcohol as well btw.
