How buzzy do you want it? Can you reference a Black Angels song? What about the FY2?

Ending solo, around 4:03.

There are several more, but, that one comes to mind. I'm thinking it's a maestro for sure.

Maestro FZ-1A up for grabs on the DAM forum (from a top notch builder too, so it's been well looked after): http://stompboxes.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=9393

Sounds like a Maestro, but I still think you'd like a Fuzzrite (that's one in the Davie Allen clip above).

NOTE: To attain the amount of overdrive this pedal produces, a slight volume drop does occur!
...
Comes in the now famous CAVE handmade and waxed boutique MDF box
Fuck that.

So, do I go mosrite or ashbass? I'm thinking about getting the maestro, too. Fuck it.

Well...
Mosrite is vintage, harder to find, more expensive, not true bypass, but totally awesome
Ashbass is a clone, from what I've heard it sounds pretty good, easily avaialble, cheaper
But kosta's right, drop jerms a note and get one of his. He has more original Fuzzrites than I do too, so has lots to base it on.
There are other clones of course. (Didn't stanimal have some up here a while back?)

Fuzzrite is really compressed, buzzy, and has a unique bloom to it.
The Maestro is sheer vintage garage buzz -- listen to old Janis Joplin for the Maestro rasp.

You might also like the Vox 2-trannie tone bender.

EDIT: Couple of Fuzzrite demos

MAESTRO FZ-1A (claims to be 1964, although I'm pretty sure the FZ-1A wasn't released until autumn/winter 1965. I have a 1965 with the PAF sticker)
