Every one of you guys is cool by me for sure, no problemo!

We're gonna have to come up with a good way of keeping track of it all though.. I don't really want the chore of taking care of all this, and I don't have any good ideas for an easy way to make this work easily... let me know if you have a good way to do this!

easiest way I can think
1. collect everyone's addresses
2. determine the recipient order based everyone's location (closest to you > closest to that person > ect.)
3. Pm you when we receive it
4. you pm us the address of the next person on the list and the date by which we have to ship it
5. we pm you when it ships
6. repeat steps 3-5

And use carrier with tracking number... pm Ryan the tracking info.

Thanks Jack! I'm thinking of a process that doesn't involve me though, I got enough chores on my plate. I'd like a demo ambassador to take care of this since I think now there's gonna be a lot of interest.

@slynau
but ups and fedx are hella expensive and usps tracking is shit so it would pretty much just be a waste of money

@ryan
the only reason I had you involved so much was to cut down on opportunities for someone to screw it up.
revised version:

1. you make a list of people in order we are to receive the pedal
2. send it to first person on the list
3. first person pm's second person for info and sends it out
4. repeat step 3

as long as we keep it to regular posters we can probably get by on the honour system.

EDIT: optional amendment to step 3. pm ryan just to say that you don't have it any more

I totally think that too, that as long as we keep this to regular posters that we're all familiar with we're probably not going to have any problems. I think it'll work best if the pedal stays in the same country too, like not being shipped to the States then back to Canada then back to the States, that would be a drag.

I think everybody should ship the pedal by the cheapest way possible, just use the standard airmail for USPS and Canada Post. The pedal is no big deal to lose anyway, it's not worth insurance and tracking.

Ok so I'll make the list, send the sucker out, and from there it'll continue on with the people's involvement... sounds great to me!

I'm going to start this up for the Tremolessence and Elements too...

Thanks for the thoughts about it, gents!

That's a very good idea Ryan (Frazz Dazzler, Tremolessence and The Elements) :thumb:
I won't put my name on the list, will leave it for other members as the place where I purchase my pedals have a 48 hours approval period (that's more than fine with me).

That would be a good idea to have some news on the traveling pedals on the forum.

I was wondering whether I would be eligible for this, considering that I've got 100 posts or so and live in Ireland? I guess I'm not a complete n00b as I've bought from you directly before. No worries at all if you don't want to risk it, though. I will not be offended at all.

Oh man, I'm so totally down for this, I've wanted to try out a Frazz for a while.

Ryan's suggestion that it stay as long as possible in one country makes total sense to me. If it's going down to the States first, I've got no problem with waiting until it's completed the U.S. circuit before coming back up north to myself and any other Canadians who get involved before it gets sent home to Ryan.
