that was sick! have you tried putting dirt behind it? or would that be too messy?

I'll try that maybe later but my first reaction is this thing is such a tonal annihilator, it'll just destroy whatever color it gets fed and if anything just consume the gain and get louder/maybe saturate a bit. This seems like an end of dirt chain pedal that feeds well into delays, verbs, etc. Could be interesting though.

I didnt like it so much with bass. But I appreciate the demos! Still, I will def buy one in the near future...once I get enough cash for a decent guitar. For now, I'm all bass.

Yeah, wasn't as exciting on bass... I'll be using it for noise tracks along with a kaoss pad, ef-101 and pds-1002.

Finally had a chance to sit down with some of the EF stuff that I picked up last month. So far the Guitar Disruptor is the clear winner of the bunch, even though I’ve yet to plug a guitar into it…

Quick and dirty clip = Grendel Drone Commander > EF103 Guitar Disruptor > Traynor Reverb Master > 410 + 215 cabs > iPhone VoiceMemo app.

Little pattern repeating on the Grendel, clean, then with the EF in the “0” position and the flux/oscillation control turned off, EF in the “2” position flux off, then various bits of manipulating the flux with a Yamaha expression pedal.

Interesting little box. RIYL onanistic wah alternatives, sub-$100 weirdness.
