I'm thinking about getting one of these and one of these mini synths for guitar based awesomeness

I thought the pic would be bigger. It's a sonus guitar to midi converter, they make bass voiced ones as well.

For reals, the RockBand keytar has a MIDI out and isn't a bad key bed. http://createdigitalmusic.com/2010/10/h ... -keyboard/ They even have a solidly built adjustable height stand for it if you don't want to rock it 80's style. I don't know if you're looking for physically smaller, but that's pretty small investment and available in any big box atrocity store.

even smaller than that! even as big or slightly bigger than the monotron keys above! 9v battery with midi out. true midi out, not usb.

a lot of us prioritize size when our synths is part of a larger setup.

Yeah.....I bought mine for $97 shipped from Amazon.....pair this with a Meeblip and you've got a guitar synth system for less than $250!

I noticed that now......but how often are they available? I am guessing he probably builds 3 or something and then there is like a 2 minute window of availability before they get sold out!

Any idea how much he charges for them assembled?
