I started the shop partly because the kind of effects I gravitate towards aren't always well represented in my area and partly as a reaction to the inability to try out a pedal the way I intended to use it. When you use pedals as texture it is key to use an amp and guitar as close to your personal set-up at volumes closer to real life. Just as important is not having the sales person make you feel like a freak because you want try a fuzz or delay with your circuit bent speak n' spell!

My only concern heading down to Providence is stepping in on another shop's turf. Esp. good people like the B-Sharp folks!

Yeah, I completely understand. That's awesome that you know B-Sharp - they're good peeps indeed. I'm trying to get them to carry more out-there stuff, esp. from ILF builders. Hey - I talked them into a Sea Machine! It's always worth a shot.

Providence needs some kind of out-there-fuzz summit. We've got the freaks, we just need the fuzz.

I heard they have a tube amp with a ring mod built in. maybe its a used metasonix fucking fucker or a builder that knows people @ B-sharp. I'm pretty close to providence if anyone wants to get together.

I want to hear/see that! I do love a good tube amp and add ring mod! If you come upon that please share the details!

The favorites of the day were the B.E. Musket, EQD Grand Orbiter, Guyatone Flip Series Vintage Tremolo, and the Dwarfcraft Shiva.
Lee Ranaldo Jazzmaster was a big hit too.

looks like two tycobrahe pedal flangers :joy: are they the same? and are you a dealer? what other flangers/chorus/phasers do you think sound similar?

The Tychobrahe's in the pics are new from Chicago Iron. One is the Parachute Wah and the other is the Pedal Flanger. Both sound awesome. In a class of their own. The wah is not like anything other wah that I've played. The flanger is very cool. It doesn't have that metallic quality that most Flangers. It is very un-80's sounding. Such a smooth expressive sound and it has a built in expression pedal. Let's your guitar/amp sound come through. Sound wise the A/DA might come the closest if I had to pick.
