120 bucks is like a fuzz pedal

I used to think that, until my onespot started frying shit.
Regulated/isolated power supplies only for me from now on

I'm always stunned when someone will drop 1K and upwards on pedals but won't shell out $100-$160 for a nice, reliable, quiet power supply. It's def a wise investment. That said, I put it off awhile too but I'm glad I came around.

Well the workhorse also had a few wire shorts, I think the onespot just made it worse
I'm curious about the size of the cioks dc10, I wonder if it can be mounted on a PT.

Voodoo Labs PP 2+ = 152 x 86 x 45 mm (6" wide x 3.4" deep x 1.75" tall)
Cioks DC10 = 158x98x34mm (excl. detachable rubber feet)
Slightly bigger surface area but it's not as tall.

Here's what I'm using right now (with a dasy chain):
Carl Martin - Powerjack
http://www.carlmartin.com/product_powerjack.htm"The Carl Martin Powerjack universal power supply for guitar effects employs switch-mode technology, allowing it to be used from 100V-240V. The Powerjack delivers 1670mA of stabilized 9V DC power at any voltage."
The voltage is stabilized...
The used PP2+ that I have found only have 6 cable (2 missing) for 119$ (136$ including taxes).
Does it really worth it to go for the PP2+?

No problem... except I have to run my wah with a battery (noisy when I touch it).
I think it's the best in it's category.
But i'm tired of unplugging the wah cable.
