No contest then, cosmichorus it is

I've been wanting a cosmichorus for a long time, but I'll wait for more headroom and stereo options

I just thought the ultimate rrr was a lot closer than that. And if you can get these cosmichoruses produced in a way that gives you more time, that probably means that the ultimate rrr will be developed faster, that is once the cosmichorus is done, and you guys can get on space-pimping the rest of the lineup

Well for the record, I don't think the Cosmichorus is really missing anything.. I think it's the best sounding chorus pedal you can get. It seems to have picked up a bad rep now for not having enough headroom but I personally don't agree with that, although I'm going to work on it. I can't get the pedal to clip with the guitars I like to play, just my EMG Tele clips it, and I don't really think that's much of a problem since I can clip any pedal with that guitar.
I don't plan on changing maybe anything about how the pedal sounds or works though, sorry Eric.
Ultimate versions are about decking the pedals out with all the features they could have so I'm thinking stereo, hold feature, but I'm not thinking of making a new chorus pedal from scratch.

sounds like a quick build!
i love the way my CC sounds, and have never had clipping issues. don't change a thing.
would 18v biasing help peoples headroom problems? are they running it after hot dirt\overdrive?

I have no complaints either, and I play an active bass through fuzz!

Yeah I'm getting antsy to work on something new so the last 25 CC pcbs will be the end of this current version and I'll get cracking on the overhaul!

no problem, I don't need it to be stereo.

It's hard to say if the new version will be ready by the end of 2011 but that's how it has to go, for a new version to be born an old version must die. Over the next few months the last of them will go out and then there will still be a gap of several months where we don't make any at all.

ryan, we're going to have to sit down and have a serious talk because i'm going to need you to start working on that flanger sooner then later.
& we need it all done by 2012 because it'll be the end of the world and after that it'll be hard to stomp on pedals while we're floating in space.
and that ALL list is getting really long right now.
:hugs:

Haha yeah I know, time is running out! I just hope when our future alien-Mayan-overlords from the black hole in the center of our galaxy fly in on their planet Nibiru that they love playing rock'n'roll guitar. I think most experts agree that's why the Mayan civilization ended though... rock'n'roll guitar... *pinch harmonic*
My future plans are ultimate Cosmichorus, ultimate Reverberator, then something micro based. I really wanna do more code work, I enjoyed the relay switching project and I miss that work now.
