Anyone notice how Atlas Sound is consistently better than Deerhunter? DH has some good songs, but no really great whole albums.

I disagree I listen to deerhunter more than atlas sound but they are really two sides of the same coin.

Huh, I'm pretty sure that I thought they were the same band until now. I know that I've heard one of them some time ago and didn't like it, but I don't recall which, and I've avoided both bands since then (but in my defence, I only thought I was avoiding one band).

I like deerhunter. I like their newest album the best, though, microcastle didn't really do it for me. As far as deerhoof, I've tried to get into them, but haven't ever been successful. I love their sound, but their singer's voice annoys the hell out of me. If they had a different singer, I would probably love them.

Nope. Deerhunter and The Dear Hunter are two separate bands, and neither are nearly as amazing as DEERHOOF!!!!111!!!
