I can't wait to watch you get older
I can't wait to meet that first boy that breaks your life
I can't wait till you realize the family you've been born into
I can't wait to watch you turn from good to bad
I can't wait to tell your grandpa made your mommy
play stripper while your uncle watched
I can't wait to tell you I punched your mommy in the chest
In front of her new friends
I can't wait till you realize mommy's heart is broken
I can't wait to watch you grow up around the people who broke it

I've seen you in the movies
and in those magazines at night
I saw you on the barstool
where ya held that guy so tight
I've seen you in my nightmares
but I'll see you in my dreams
and I might live a thousand years before I know what that means
Once there was a friend of mine
who died a thousand deaths
his life was filled with parasitesand countless idle threats
he trusted in a woman
and on her he made his bet
once there was a friend of mine
who died a thousand deaths

I could fill this thread will Of Montreal lyrics
Did you go see them when they came to Milwaukee?
No, but I did see them in Minneapolis about two years ago. It was right after Skeletal Lamping came out, and it was insane. Kevin Barnes spent most of the show in a tiny gold speedo-type thing, and their keyboard player went off stage to change clothes 4 or 5 times. At one point I remember there being 4 people playing bass at once. For their last song, they played a cover of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and the place went nuts. For any other band, that would be a really hokey song to cover, but for Of Montreal it was so unexpected and awesome.

Incubus - A Crow Left of the Murder - Agoraphobia
Two people touching lips
Hands on each other's hips
Nothing else in the world but one another
The 42nd floor
On a distant shore
I wonder how we've strayed so far from this
Remember when we were
Just flesh and bone
You sir may have forgotten how good your world can be
So, put down your hollow tips
to kiss your lovers lips
And know that fate is what you make of it
--------------------
The Beatles - We Can Work it Out / Day Tripper Single - We Can Work it Out
Try to see it my way,
Do I have to keep on talking till I can't go on?
While you see it your way,
Run the risk of knowing that our love may soon be gone.
[And the rest of the song]
--------------------
Devin Townsend - Addicted! - Numbered!
Ah, we are numbered,
We are numb, We are not alone.
Ah, we are numbered.
We are numb, We are numb...
--------------------
Between the Buried and Me - Alaska - All Bodies
Keeper of the stars, I hope to never find
We are just mortal souls left to die

Motörhead, Stay Clean:
(...)
So you see, the only proof
Of what you are is in the way
You hear the truth
Don't be scared, live to win
Although they're always gonna tell ya it's a sin
In the end, you're on your own
And there is no one that can stop you being alone.

I know its over
And it never really began
But in my heart it was so real
-The Smiths, "I Know Its Over"
Here alone when I feel down too
Over there and I await true love from you
You can hide, oh now, the way I do
You will see, oh now, the way I do
-MBV, "Sometimes" (Pretty much this entire song, but especially this part)

Slob on my knob
Like corn on the cob
Check in with me, and do your job
Lay on the bed, and give me head
Don't have to ask, don't have to beg
Juicy is my name
Sex is my game
Let's call the boys, let's run a train
Squeeze on my nuts
Lick on my butt

Like water on the drywood
equal parts misguided and misunderstood
But all the neighborhood
watched the fire burn from where they stood
as the smoke said,
"We're not half as bad as God is good."
Still there's a whisper in my ear,
the voice of loneliness and fear
And I say, "Devil, disappear!"
I'm still technically a virgin after 27 years,
which never bothered me before,
what's maybe fifty more?

I can relate to these lyrics more than any other song in history:
Schools out--oh yeah!
Nobody home--alright!
Schools out--oh yeah!
Nobody home!
Don't know the color of your hair
Don't know the color of your eyes
Just the color of your face, baby,
And the secrets of your past.
Schools out--oh yeah!
Nobody home--alright!
Schools out--oh yeah!
HOME ALONE!!
