Yeah, the whole mix issue is pretty subjective as far as usability. It'd be weird to have a demo of an effect that wasn't really present. I do think this pedal is going to dominate, and if my local GC, supplies them, which I doubt they will, I'll let you guys know. However, I promise one of you will encounter it before I do.
I swear all the guitar shops here are trying to hard to be Guitar Center, but local, and Guitar Center is about the general market and I don't fit the description!

Some people (like me & the Mars Volta) enjoy rigmod really loud and it's perfectly usable that way. It's a matter of taste and creativity. Also, when listening to a demo, I'd prefer to have the blend all the way on the effect because I'm not interested in hearing the dudes guitar tone... I'm interested in the pedal. Nawmeen?
plus i think this is most affordable and versatile ring modular on the market or at least it will become once it will be stock! and for sure i'll own it

on thomann site says
expected delivery on 19.08.2011 but their shipment is always 1 month late then the others so the pedal will probably be in stock in other stores in the middle of July.

Got this from StopReferencing yesterday. Haven't really been able to play with it too much, maybe an hour. Still, pretty cool. I'll record soundclips (and HOPEFULLY a video) when I get home from work today. Any settings requests?
Here's a list of gear I have:
TAFM
ODB3
EHX Freeze
DD-3
EQD Grand Orbiter
EQD Hummingbird
Boomerang III
I generally play bass, but I also have a piccolo bass, so I can also do guitar range demos (kind of). Whatever combination you'd be interested in, let me know and I'll try to accommodate.

Its pretty meh. I have one and it has pretty bad carrier bleed and just doesn't sound all that great. I've used ring modulators for a long time and this one is best left for noise applications.

Made some quick demos. Thought I'd be able to have a camera to use, which is why I was waiting. But I decided to just go ahead and make some quick and dirty ones. The bass is a Fender American Jazz Deluxe V, going into a Fender Rumble 15, of which the headphone out went into an Alesis io2 going to my computer. If I get enough requests I can make one using a mic, but I think this shows you basically how the pedal sounds.
First demo is me using an EHX Freeze to hold a G from my bass. I then go through different modes and settings on the Ringworm, which has its frequency tuned to G as well (or close to it). The blend is at about 2:30. The width and rate knobs vary, but you can tell when its being changed.

Second demo is me playing my bass. Same setting as before. After going through all modes once, I switch on a TAFM, and towards the end I also use an EQD Grand Orbiter for phasing.

Hopefully this gives you all an idea of what this pedal sounds like and what it can do.

It doesn't seem bad at all for noise making...and that's all ring mods are good for

Its definitely good for noisemaking. Maybe the best for that if all you want to do is make noise. Its definitely not a cheap viable alternative to the Randy's Revenge though.
