I always liked them a lot. Chino's voice just covers it all and I love that huge, synthy guitar sound!

I didn't listen to anything after White Pony, but maybe I should...

They also do a mean Cure cover:

I appreciate them for their large influence over some bands that I enjoy.

One of the best shows I've been to was Quicksand opening up for Deftones at Roseland NYC, probably in '99.

Chino did a dive from about 20 feet off a speaker column and almost took me out.

I've seen them a couple of times. Once for the self-titled record and once for Saturday Night Wrist.

Excellent live band, and White Pony is still one of the best Hard-whatever records of the 'Aughts.

Did Snapcase play that date?

I saw that tour in Rochester, NY. As much as I like Deftones, Snapcase just blew them the fuck away that night. Still, an epic show.

I don't remember Snapcase at that show. It was the last tour that Quicksand was on before they broke up.

Coincidentally...... I was trying to buy Quicksand tickets today at noon when they went on sale and were fucking sold out in 5 minutes.

I'll never forget that Quicksand's intro music was "Anvil of Crom" from the Conan Soundtrack. :thumb:

I saw them once as well. It was around the same time as Around the Fur...1998 or so I believe? Could be wrong on the date though. Probably one of the best concerts I've been to. Then I saw them again at Ozzfest in 01, I believe 01...they rocked there too. I preferred their old sound to this newer shit though.
