i'm not familliar with previous lineups, but this just seems boring... but then again i'm not much of a festival person...

I dig seeing bands I love, but festivals can go sit on a tack.

OFWGKTA is enticing, but there are only like 5 other bands that I would really really want to see there

Y'all are a bunch of hipster grumpusses. I have no plans to go to any festivals this year, but I can still appreciate there's a handful of good bands to make up for the fact that Kanye West is bunched in with them. The Strokes, !!!, Moving Units, Big Audio Dynamite, DFA1979(those two salvage the whole thing on their own), The Black Keys, Arcade Fire, Klaxons, Broken Social Scene, One Day as a Lion, Chromeo, Lightning Bolt, Scissor Sisters, New Pornographers. The rest of the acts I've either never heard of or I simply despise.

That picture is hilarious.

My only point was that there are a good number of good bands on the list. I don't particularly like festivals for the reasons you stated. I also wanted to use the word grumpusses. Note the second u is an uh sound, like humus. It's not an amalgam of grump and pussy; It's just a fun way to say grump.

But yeah, this thread needs more Kanye hate. Fuck you and your idiotic, self-obsessed, sample-happy music!

I really want to go, but I don't see myself paying more or less 400 bucks (after gas and weed and whatnot) just to see 3-4 bands that I like. I'm pretty pissed that they chose Coachella as their reunion venue. Hopefully they decide to play some more shows in other places (FUCKING SEATTLE, PLEASE GOD!!!)
