Never could jibe with the SmallStone. I'll give another vote for the Phase 90. Sounds great on bass too.

Whirlwind Orange Box -- it's like a vintage Phase 90 only true bypass and pretty cheap. Much better than any of the Dunlop/MXR RIs.
Or how about one of those little not-really-vibes like the Sweet Sound MoFaux? Those are nice little phasers.

They actually don't sound the same :grumpy: the nano is too "clear" for a SS :idk:

So true. I love the russian SS's but the nano's are meh, IMO. Have yet to try any of the earliest ones, but of the ones I have played they all sounded different. .

Yeah the Russian ones are the shit :thumb: I have a old green sovtek missing all the paint that I got really cheap, so think sounding. I have a 70's one too and the sovtek is closer to the sound of the 70's one then my guitarist's nano which never gets used..

Also Maxon makes/has made some killer phases, I remember playing through a old orange one once at music-go-round that was really great.

I've got a Nano SS on the way, should here Wednesday or Thursday. I could do a bass demo, side by side with my Phase 90-type pedal? :idk:

Do it, doubt anyone would mind
I could do a little something with my green SS, just for kicks. Too bad I sold the p90.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone!

The Wounded Paw pedal looks right up my ally. I'm going to try and find more demos. Really like the sound of that Pigtronixs pedal too, but it's too damn big. My board (finally got a board!!!!) is pretty much full right now, so anything I add has to be the right size. The nano is the right size, but I don't like the sound.

I loved to see that demo sevenSHARPnine. Maybe you could do one with a fuzz layered in there? That's generally how I use the phasers. I don't like them as a stand alone pedal like some of the other effects I enjoy. So I'd be strictly using it with another pedal to add a synth type tone.

Mudfuzz- I'll for sure be looking at the MXR Phase 45. Do you have any sound clips of it in action?

Yep, or a Phase 100 - not a lot bigger, but with some real nice additions to the phasing options...

I have a demo for the Wounded Paw phaser on my YouTube channel, haven't been able to find much else on I though. That Pigtronix pedal is sick!

I can throw some fuzz in there for sure. Before or after the phase? And since I forgot, are we still talking about bass?

I usually do mine with the fuzz first then the phaser. And yes I play bass. I've tried to play guitar in the past but ultimately end up trying to play the damn thing the same way I do a bass. lol I guess I'm retarded. :!!!:

I'd love a demo though and really appreciate it!

Best phasers ever are the Maestro PS-1 and the MuTron Phasor2, but they're both humungous.

I don't, and it'll be a week before I can do any demos of anything, sorry.

I have a recording of it with OD and delay, and I could post that if you want.
