I got my hands on a free accordian a few months ago. I'd love to be able to rock some shit out on it, but I suck. Me and keys have never been friends, sadly.

Well, since it wasn't metioned already:

there's also KTU, aka Kluster TU, featuring the Finnish new wave of accordion dude Kimmo Pohjonen, with ex-KC new breeds Pat Mastelotto and Trey Gunn. I used to dis accordion BIG TIME because of living in neighbor of a folk musician but Kimmo cured me of my biased wiev. Saw them some years ago and they played pretty damn awesome together. Then there was the sheer :omg: :omg: :omg: factor for the accordion >> fuzzes >> reverbs >> amps >> eargasming audience!

So... what we learn of this is that You can play ANYTHING through a fuzz pedal and make even the irritating and corny instruments come out nice. Yes, that's right boys and girls, as frightening as it may first sound, SPACERITUAl is right: if it doesn't improve with a fuzz it wasn't probably worth the effort in the first place.

Yeah I definitely understand that every scene has it's downers. However, last time I played in Brooklyn a bunch of people i've never met before showed up just to be at a show...it was very refreshing to know, although far, that mentality is around.
