0 knob wolf computer....

This is sort of what I was thinking... Or perhaps a cc/dc with a single switch so both chains are permanently stacked

Oscillator.

 self-oscillating note randomiser freakout box is what i want , But it would be cool to see "trebleboost w/ octave up" ina fixed box, and a similar "darkboost w/ octave down" same same! no knob , sensitive enough to be dramatically affected by Guitars volume/tone knob/s. Still you should make ME a "Fun Box" for mindless stress free freakout jams to be had anytime, anywhere.

That'd be pretty rad.

I'd be so down for any of these!

Yeah really... I know I'm easy to please...

Personally to be all keep'n it realz I like the single CC or DC idea... I would buy a few single CCs as to me it is THE best sounding clean boost.

Single switch CC/DC would be cool. I have both sides on all the time anyways...

So far I like this idea the best, or the octave up fuzziness that futuresailors suggested.

The ccdc in one box without the extra knob, in theory, sounds really close to the current production high five to me :idk:

Single cc's and dc's would be cool though

...but the melx/cc gets my vote over everything else.

Really? the Hi5 is a clearer to me, not as thick if you will :idk:

What's the point of this, really? If both sides are permanently stacked, then it's really just a ballsy DC, isn't it? And if it is, then that's exactly what I would want. I really liked the cc/dc I had - mostly for the dirty boost, which sounded awesome in front of some of my OD, fuzz and delay pedals. Null.fuzz modded his cc/dc to be ballsier. He never made a demo but told me about it and it sounded like it worked well.

wfs1234 wrote:I'd rather see something different, a no knob miracle rabbit, an envelope triggered feedback loop, the octave effect from the trumpet fuzz in a box, but the melx/cc sounds like the best idea to me.

I agree with this too. A new Mellowtone would be neat. I remember watching a bunch of demos of stuff that Eric had made for himself, as experiments and whatnot, like the MEEP. A MEEP + floop would be pretty neat.

That's what I'm sayin. New stuff would be awesome.

How about a momentary-switched freakout fuzz pedal?

Say, you have it be a weird oscillating or octave fuzz effect, but, instead of having a regular true bypass switch, use a momentary switch to activate it so you can rapidly turn it on and off during a solo to accentuate certain phrases easily.

Maybe an internal trim pot to tune the oscillation/octave/freakout?
