and tbh, aside from the name association, that sounds like a pretty decent price for a gibson.
Replace the pickguard, sand it down and refinish it = not a bad guitar. Sadly, that equation makes it one of the more desirable recent Gibsons for the price.
or just buy a 2 pick up melody maker for $400 and put p-90s in it...saving a bunch of money.
